Frequently Asked Questions
What are the advantages of receiving a dental crown?
Dental crowns restore strength, function, and appearance to damaged teeth, particularly those with broken fillings, deep decay, or structural wear. Our modern dental practice uses advanced technology to offer same-day crowns, completing the process in a single appointment for your convenience. This efficient solution is ideal for patients who need immediate protection or cosmetic enhancement as part of their general dental services. Crowns also play a key role in supporting occlusal splints or maintaining bite alignment after trauma.
Which payment methods can Herston patients use at your family dental clinic?
At our family dental clinic, we make paying for treatment simple and stress-free. We accept all major health funds through HICAPS, along with credit cards and Afterpay, for flexible options. Whether you’re visiting for teeth whitening, preventative care, or restorative treatment, our team will explain costs clearly upfront. We aim to support families with accessible financial options across our full range of services.
How often should I visit the dentist?
It’s usually recommended to visit every six months for a check-up and clean. Regular visits help prevent issues and keep your teeth and gums healthy.
Do dental clinics handle emergency appointments?
Yes, most clinics can assist with urgent issues like tooth pain, broken teeth, or infections. It’s best to contact the clinic as soon as possible to arrange prompt care.
Do you accept any government dental vouchers or support programs for dental services?
How do I choose the right dentist near Herston?
What treatments are usually available at a local dental clinic?
Most dental clinics offer general check-ups, cleans, fillings, cosmetic treatments, and restorative options like implants or crowns. Many also provide care for families and children.
How much does a dental visit typically cost?
Costs can vary depending on the treatment you need. Routine check-ups are generally more affordable, while complex procedures may cost more. Many clinics accept health funds and offer flexible payment options.
Note: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
